Angeliq Aje is a movement alchemist and somatic researcher devoted to the sacred practice of embodied listening. Born in Atlanta, Georgia and classically trained in all genres of dance from the age of three, she has long understood movement as her first and most fluent language — a way of communing with life. Movement — a poetic communion with life itself. Her path weaves through studios and stages from Atlanta to New York, to LA, blending dance, breath, and meditation into a living practice of presence. A certified Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher with studies in Bikram, Kemetic yoga, chakra activation, and intuitive arts, Angeliq moves at the intersection of spirit and sensation. As a guide, she offers movement as ritual — where the body becomes both archive and oracle, voice and vessel. Her work is rooted in storytelling and somatic reverence, inviting memory, sound, and improvisation into the space where movement meets prayer. Angeliq presently offers her wisdom of movement therapy & somatic support via offerings of both yoga and movement exploration in multiple different studios throughout New York City and Brooklyn.
